In between then and now
Lies a horizon. Unreachable!

Lies a memory. Unforgettable!

Lies a song. Unheard!

Lies a picture. Unpainted!

In between then and now
Lies a world.
Undiscovered and unknown!

A nascent life, a nurtured promise.
In between then and now lies the last word,
We ever exchanged.
And the unending silence,
Which now seems to have existed since ages.

The mystical glance,
Which said stories yet remained silent.

In between then and now
Lies all my hopes, all my life.
Unfettered and unrelished!
Yet as fresh as the morning dew.
